Am fost surprins ieri sa vad ca Macu’ a venit cu Tigeru’ preinstalat. Leopardu’ era pe cd-uri in cutie. Strange.
Am stat 1h si ceva pe Tiger dupa care, fast, l-am ras si-am pus Leopardu’. Dupa care am pus si Vista pe-o bucatzica de 40GB. :P

Ma asteptam la un Penryn CPU, la o placa video mai tare (ca Apple e in urma cu 2 ani la capitolu’ asta), la preturi mai mici.. ehh…
Si mai are o kestie tare: no internal optical drive. Bine, au skos o mizerie acuma cu care poti face backup wireless si install de software, tot wireless.
Nu tu update la iMac-uri, nic!
Dar au wireless. Sa si-l bage-n cur si pe ala. Wireless.

Well its been only a day since the Mac OSX Leopard was released officially by Apple and the hackers have managed to create a patched DVD that everyone like you and me can use to install Leopard on PC’s without having to buy a Mac. Please note the tutorial that I am going to post is still experimental and things might not work the right way simply because it is still early days in hacking Leopard to work on PC’s. Well if you don’t mind your PC getting screwed then go ahead and try out this tutorial.

Announcing its fiscal 2007 fourth quarter results, Apple reported today that it had posted revenue of $6.22 billion and net quarterly profit of $904 million, or $1.01 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $4.84 billion and net quarterly profit of $542 million, or $.62 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 33.6 percent, up from 29.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. In the fourth quarter, Apple shipped 2,164,000 Macs, representing 34% growth over the year-ago quarter and exceeding the previous quarterly record for Mac shipments by 400,000. Apple also sold 10,200,000 iPods (representing 17% growth over the year-ago quarter) and 1,119,000 iPhones, bringing cumulative fiscal 2007 iPhone sales to 1,389,000. [Oct 22, 2007]
