Ever notice how most Mac users are skinny? It’s because of all the calories they burn because they can’t shut the fuck up about how great their Macs are. What is it about Apple that makes its users unable to shut their mouths? Everywhere I go, there’s another asshole with a Mac preaching about how much better Macs are than PCs. They regurgitate lines directly from Apple’s marketing campaign, like “it just works.” I have the following rebuttals to this argument:

Cu $3,000 iti iei un MacBook Pro super dotat. Si-atat.. no more upgrades in the future, pentru ca ai pus tot ce se putea pune in el. Sa nu comentam despre placa grafica si joace, sa fim cat de cat realisti - Mac is not for games.
Dar, cu $3,000 de coco iti iei un super PC, mastodont, monster, whatever, full upgradabil, full nice, full cool, something that you’re about mopping the floor with the Mac.
Si cred ca-ti mai raman si vreo doi bani de bere…

Well its been only a day since the Mac OSX Leopard was released officially by Apple and the hackers have managed to create a patched DVD that everyone like you and me can use to install Leopard on PC’s without having to buy a Mac. Please note the tutorial that I am going to post is still experimental and things might not work the right way simply because it is still early days in hacking Leopard to work on PC’s. Well if you don’t mind your PC getting screwed then go ahead and try out this tutorial.

Announcing its fiscal 2007 fourth quarter results, Apple reported today that it had posted revenue of $6.22 billion and net quarterly profit of $904 million, or $1.01 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $4.84 billion and net quarterly profit of $542 million, or $.62 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 33.6 percent, up from 29.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. In the fourth quarter, Apple shipped 2,164,000 Macs, representing 34% growth over the year-ago quarter and exceeding the previous quarterly record for Mac shipments by 400,000. Apple also sold 10,200,000 iPods (representing 17% growth over the year-ago quarter) and 1,119,000 iPhones, bringing cumulative fiscal 2007 iPhone sales to 1,389,000. [Oct 22, 2007]

Are (cica) vreo 300 de inovatii/features. Yeah, right…
Dar nu spun ca cel mai mic shit de la ei sare de mia de parai. Iar daca vrei ceva cu care sa bati la cur orice Dell/Toshiba si unde Vista sa se miste ca la mama ei acasa, ai nevoie de vreo 3,000 de coco. Cu 3,000 de coco iti iei un super-mega-cica PC… de o sa-ti zboare si casa cu el.

Azi dimineatza mi-a crapat XP-ul; norocul meu ca aveam o alta partitie cu Vista. Si mai aveam si Mac-u’ around.
Aseara mi-a picat si netu’ (pana azi la 13:00). Aveam de munca, tone! Fara net, mergea sa-mi termin cateva task-uri, dar fara email-urile cu specificatii nu!… so, 12 ore I was dead on productivity.
Cand ai treaba de nu te vezi se strica toate: ori crapa, ori nu mai vor sa mearga, ori te ignora. Scurt!
Cand n-ai treaba si nici kef… merg toate brici.. cu 800-900k/sec. kiar
...de’al dracu’!
Si colac peste pupaza: cand am terminat de lucru ce mi-am propus azi, Vista a inceput sa dea rateuri: nu se mai deskidea photoshopu’, inghetza Firefoxu iar IE-ul lua o pauza de vreo 2 minute pana sa se deskida…
...de-al dracu’!

Nu-mi place pe Mac din cauza de mouse - se misca muuult mai lent/greu decat sint eu obisnuit (si da, sensitivitatea la mouse e la maxim, as usualy)
Si nu-mi mai place la Mac ca nu pot folosi doo monitoare in the same time.
